Acupuncture
Stimulate healing processes and balance your flow of energy with Acupuncture complemented by a holistic Chinese medicine approach.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. This practice is believed to help balance the flow of energy, or qi, in the body to promote healing.
Is Acupuncture for You?.
Acupuncture is a time-honored healing practice that has supported wellness for over 3,000 years. Rooted in ancient wisdom and backed by modern research, acupuncture activates the body’s natural healing abilities—boosting the immune system, reducing inflammation, and relieving pain.
It’s also deeply supportive for emotional wellbeing, helping to ease anxiety, depression, and stress by calming both the mind and body.
Different Chinese Medicine Offerings
-

Acupuncture
Many people find that acupuncture enhances focus and resilience, making it easier to navigate life’s daily challenges.
Increasingly recognized within the medical community, acupuncture is often used alongside conventional treatments to accelerate healing after surgery—and can even be beneficial when received before a procedure.
-

Ear Acupuncture Therapy
The ear is a powerful microsystem that reflects the entire body. Auricular acupuncture can be added to your treatment to enhance healing, especially for pain relief and emotional support. I offer Battlefield Acupuncture and the NADA protocol—both designed to help regulate the nervous system and ease discomfort.
For continued support after your session, ear seeds may be placed on specific points so you can gently stimulate them at home, extending the therapeutic benefits.
-

Cupping & Gua Sha
Cupping therapy uses gentle suction to promote the free flow of qi and blood through the meridians, helping to reduce pain, inflammation, and tension. I use glass and silicone cups to treat areas such as the back, shoulders, and legs, and to support digestive health and respiratory conditions like asthma. Many clients also find cupping deeply relaxing.
Gua Sha is a traditional technique used to release stagnation, ease pain, and support the body’s natural detoxification process. It’s also popular for facial rejuvenation—helping to sculpt, lift, and reduce puffiness while promoting circulation and glow.

Your session begins with a brief consultation to discuss your health history, current concerns, and treatment goals for a customized approach.
Once you’re comfortable, Jessica will gently insert very fine, sterile needles into specific points on your body. The needles are so thin that most clients experience little to no discomfort, often describing a tingling or warming sensation. The needles will remain in place for 20 to 40 minutes, depending on your treatment plan.
During this time, you can close your eyes, relax, and even drift into a meditative state. Many clients find the experience deeply relaxing, with some even falling asleep. The goal is to help you achieve a state of balance and promote the flow of energy throughout your body.
After your session, you may feel a sense of calm and relaxation, with some clients noticing immediate relief from pain or tension. Our acupuncturist will provide aftercare guidance to enhance the benefits of your treatment, along with recommendations for follow-up sessions to support your ongoing wellness journey.
