MISSION/VISION:
I firmly believe in the yogic wisdom that truth is one, paths are many. We may appear different but we are the same in many ways and tolerance and understanding are at the center of how I carry myself in the world. I believe we are light beings of joy here for an experience that includes being of service to each other as we are also meant to receive love and support from other. The Peruvian Quechua word “ayni” means reciprocity and mutual aid which is what I believe we are all here to do in some way.
PHILOSOPHY:
Yogic philosophy is one of practical wisdom and reverence to all as being worthy of love and preservation including animals and the planet. Through the embodied understanding of the Sanskrit word “ahimsa”, or non-violence, we are able to lead useful and peaceful lives, inspiring others to do the same through compassionate presence and grounded action. We lead our lives by example and examine our biases with honesty and integrity. I aspire to continue to live my life through example and to share with the community what I have learned in how to manage conflict, disappointments, setbacks and even bigger challenges like grief and larger world issues like climate change with optimism and hope in the face of a world that is often filled with cynicism and toxic or antiquated thinking.

Hello Spirit Well Community! I am so excited to be able to connect with you and draw from my inner well of experiences and trainings to bring you practices that will both support you in releasing what is heavy in your mind and body and help you gain access to your true nature which is peace and joy. Through receiving conscious touch in Thai yoga and other Principle Based partner Yoga practices, I can help you to unwind the physical knots and mental/energetic blocks that you may be experiencing in your personal, work and family relationships. Sessions are a balance of conversation and direct experience practices which take us out of our thinking minds and directly into our shared human experience. Some of the challenges my sessions may help you to identify and work through include: - resistance to receiving support or feeling disconnected from understanding how to trust others - how not to abandon ourselves in the process of building and maintaining different relationships including those with our spouses, children and families helping to create better understanding of boundaries and individual needs - allowing yourself to step out of a fixing/doing mode and how to trust the process of surrender in your mind and body which will help you to regain your sense of peace through the many storms life will inevitably hurl your way. I have worked with individuals, couples, mothers and daughters, younger flexible bodies, older stiffer or injured ones and even pregnant women who have benefitted from the individual energy and attention a supportive Thai Yoga and Partner Yoga session can be. I also have extensive experience holding space for those with compassion fatigue or secondary trauma through caring for elders or sick family members, moms who are burned out from caring for children, those who have experienced sexual trauma, as well as those who are first responders (both active and retired). Sessions can also include energy balancing tools I’ve learned in the Peruvian Shamanic tradition as well as meditation and breathing techniques for balancing energy or cultivating a personal practice in between sessions to maintain a calm and grounded presence throughout the day.
