CranioSacral Therapy
Deeply relax, release tension in your body's systems and come back to center with this gentle touch technique.
What is CranioSacral Therapy?
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on technique that helps release tension and improve the function of your nervous system. It focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the soft tissues and fluid surrounding your brain and spinal cord.
Using a light touch, a practitioner works from the top of your head (cranium) to the base of your spine (sacrum) to release restrictions. This encourages better communication between the brain and body, helping to relieve stress, improve mobility, and support overall health. CST has been shown to benefit many systems in the body, including the nervous, digestive, muscular, respiratory, and circulatory systems.
This gentle approach is deeply relaxing and can help restore balance, reduce discomfort, and support your body’s natural healing process.
Is CranioSacral Therapy for You?
CST is most commonly sought out for chronic pain, headaches, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and sleep disturbances.
It may also support digestive issues, sleep disturbances, and musculoskeletal concerns. Football players and Veterans have famously used CST to complement care for post-concussion recovery, trauma healing, and overall nervous system regulation.
Many people incorporate CST into their routine for general wellness, deep relaxation, and to support the body’s natural ability to heal and restore balance. It is a great complement to receiving regular massages.

Your session begins with a brief consultation to discuss your health history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. This helps create a customized approach tailored to your body’s needs. You will lay clothed on a massage table, ideally wearing close-fitting clothing.
Once you’re comfortable, your practitioner will use a gentle, hands-on technique, lightly placing their hands on specific areas such as the skull, spine, and sacrum. Using a soft touch, they will assess and release tension, helping to restore balance in your nervous system. Many clients describe sensations of warmth, gentle pulsations, or deep relaxation as their body begins to unwind.
During the session, you are encouraged to relax, close your eyes, and let go of stress. Some clients enter a meditative state or even fall asleep, as the therapy promotes a profound sense of calm and well-being.
After your session, you may feel lighter, more centered, and deeply relaxed, with some clients experiencing immediate relief from tension or discomfort. Your practitioner will offer aftercare guidance and recommendations for follow-up sessions to support your ongoing healing and wellness journey.
“Amy is an amazing healer. After two CranioSacral sessions with Healy work in one week my life is re-charged. My intention for this series of treatments was to reconnect with my physical body, and it happened very quickly.
I have become very grounded, whole unto to myself… My “container” is more solid. I am no longer leaking energy to others. I am calmer and more able to bring myself to peace more quickly when triggered. Physically I am much stronger and have desire and motivation which had been lacking for physical activities such as walking and yoga. I am also inspired to “go out into the world” and participate in community circles such as Reiki and even practice there, which I have not been drawn to in a while.
Thanks for getting me to this point, Amy! I look forward to more healing sessions and more amazing progress as my body rebounds.”

“After my multi-hands CranioSacral Therapy appointment, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace. It was so gentle and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before.
For months after my session there was a slight but perceptible shift in how I connected my daily habits to managing my chronic health symptoms. I’ve just felt better and better overall since then. I can’t wait to go back for my next session!”

“I met Amy a couple years ago when we both started our equine craniosacral therapy training journey. Several certifications later, I have had the opportunity to see her work her magic on many horses, including my own.
Amy has an intuitive ability to assess the horse and immediately start applying techniques that will address the issue. She loves her work and it shows in the horses she works with. Highly recommend!”

After spending a number of years as a pastry chef, Andie found the food service industry to be too political and stressful to be part of a healthy lifestyle. As a nurturing spirit, Andie has always found herself drawn to the healing power of touch. As part of her commitment to a more healthy and holistic lifestyle, Andie decided to embrace the nurturer within and pursue a career in massage therapy.
In 2005, upon completing 624 hours of massage therapy training at the Florida College of Natural Health, Andie became a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist and opened a private practice in Delray Beach, FL. Since then, Andie has explored different massage modalities and has accumulated over 3,400 additional hours of training and certification.
Specializing in both Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy and CranioSacral Therapy, Andie has received extensive Lymphatic Drainage training in both Vodder and Chickly techniques and has achieved both state and national certification to perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD/C). As a result of additional training received from the Upledger Institute, in CranioSacral therapy, Andie often uses a mix of both modalities during her therapy sessions. Andie is passionate about multi-hand work and regularly volunteers her time to work at the intensive therapy programs at Upledger Institute, working with veterans with PTSD.
She is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), and the American Massage Therapy Association.
Andie firmly believes in and has witnessed firsthand the power of touch and the necessity of incorporating regular relaxation, healing modalities, and therapeutic massage into a busy and stressful life. As a result, she continues to find herself drawn to all aspects of healthy and happy living and hopes to both learn from and inspire others to do the same.
